From Design to Remodeling, What We Do and How to Budget

ample storage maximizes function

Have you been considering an interior design or remodel project for a while? After spending so much time at home, are you fully aware of the flaws in your home and you need it fixed … YESTERDAY. Perhaps you’re finally sick of looking at wallpaper that you never loved in the first place or you simply want functional storage in your kitchen for all the food your family is going through.

Interior design services are not a one-size-fits all offering. Each project is unique. Every family has specific needs. And no two aesthetics are the same. Transforming a home isn’t like ordering dinner off a menu. It’s about time and quality, understanding who you are, what you want and how you use your home and space.

This is why our interior design services are tailored to you. For example, we might design a custom-made oversized light fixture or select one from a trusted vendor. Each approach is right for a specific client, but the scope of work for each varies widely and pricing reflects the time and commitment of each.

Are you ready for a larger-scale remodel?

Savvy Interiors holds a general contractors license, which means we are uniquely qualified to bring your home dreams to life. We work closely with design-minded subcontractors and pay exceptional attention to the little details and overall process with an eye for craftsmanship.

This is the time to plan and dream ... to think big about what your home can be and how it might serve you best. Interior design and remodeling are about so much more than pretty spaces. But we also believe even the most mundane household tasks are more fun in a pretty space.

Ready to remodel? Here are 10 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR REMODEL.

We are not a one-trick pony

Our pricing is dependent on the individual project, the complete scope of work and the trades involved. Our designs are unique to the architecture of a home and your personal tastes and needs. We want you to love your home, to have a space for everything and everything in its place, and to feel served by your home (instead of the other way around).

Our projects range from a single-room refresh to a fully reimagined home with extensive remodeling. No matter the size or scope of a project, Savvy is focused on delivering high-quality design. But what does that mean?

  • Understanding your needs AND wants through continued conversations

  • A significant investment of time in the design process

  • Carefully thought-out details and material selections

  • Regular site walks to monitor the construction process

  • Thorough communication throughout

Quality takes time, and time costs money

Excellent interior design service must strike the perfect balance - between beauty and comfort, impact and economics. We know quality comes with a cost. Creating something that is truly one of a kind requires time, expertise and commitment. We’ve got you!

In interior design, quality means …

  • Paying attention to little details that bring a sense of order to the whole

  • Finding the perfect balance between pretty and function

  • Turning a house that’s old and dated into a welcoming home you can relax in

While we’d love to work with everyone, we’ve learned that stretching ourselves too thin is a disservice to everyone. Ultimately, we want to give our clients the quality and level of service they deserve. By setting minimum thresholds, we can focus our time and energy on doing the absolute best job possible for our clients.

Our minimum project thresholds

  • Local Project Designs Plus Build: $100k minimum project investment or 3 full rooms

  • Local Projects for Furnishings Only: 3 full rooms

  • Projects Outside Our 10-mile Radius Within San Diego County: $250k minimum project investment, design only plus partial general contracting

  • Projects Outside San Diego County: Minimum design fee only upon request, full home projects only

You get what you pay for

Imagine ordering a la carte at your favorite chain restaurant. Now consider having a private chef who tailors the entire dining experience to your liking, asking first if you have any preferences, allergies or foods you don’t like. The room is set up with your preferred lighting, music and temperature. Each exquisite dish is served up beautifully plated and with a detailed explanation of the ingredients and process of creating it.
